Alexander L. (Al) Lutchin, BA, APR - As President & CEO Al is responsible for business development, operations and client services. A distinguished career serving in senior management roles, including executive positions in both the private and public sector, have prepared him well for this position. His hall mark of distinction is developing high performance teams and working with people in organizations to develop their full potential to achieve objectives. Al has been responsible for several transformational high profile corporate assignments. He is a member of the Human Resources Professional Association, the Canadian Public Relations Society, is accredited in public relations/communications and is an active member of the HR committee for the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce. You can find him hosting a cable14 tv show called Hamilton Works Tuesday evenings at 10 pm.
Nance C. MacLeod-Lutchin, BA,NMD – Nance serves as Vice-President with Career Compass Canada with a focus on our Career Transition and Workplace Wellness practice areas. She is a CPI Certified Career Transition Counsellor and a Certified Coach in the New Horizons retirement transition program. Nance has served in executive management roles with both Canadian and US owned companies. She is also considered a national leader in wellness and is accredited with the Examining Board of Natural Medicine - North America. She has more than two decades of experience as an instructor/coach in personal and professional development. Nance is a regular contributor on Hamilton Life, Cable 14 and is an active member of the Dundas noon hour Rotary Club.
Fred C. Hopkinson - Fred is our immediate past President where he served with distinction for over 15 years. Prior to taking over D.C .Harrison & Associates Limited, Fred held senior positions in HR including Director of Human Resources for both McMaster University and St. Joseph’s Hospital. Recognized for his expertise in career transition, he has provided counselling services for clients across a range of positions, front line to executive managment in both private and public sectors. A long-term member of the Human Resources Professional Association, Fred is our lead on Career Transition and strategic HR Solutions. He is a recipient of the Career Partners International Global “Partnership Award” in recognition of his ongoing commitment to the delivery of quality client services. Fred serves as Executive Vice President.
Carmela Ciotti-Hooper, ACC, CPCC, CPM - Carmela is an accomplished senior Human Resources professional with more than two decades of corporate HR experience. She is a Certified Professional Coach through the Coaches Training Institute and specializes in executive coaching, career transition and leadership development. Carmela is a certified specialist in The Leadership Circle 360, assessment tools used in developing leadership culture and personal executive performance. She is an active member of the HR community serving on the Board of Directors for HRPA – Hamilton Chapter, is a long standing member HRPA and is a member of the International Coach Federation and participates with the local ICF – GTA chapter.
Gary Busteed, CMC, CHRP – Gary is a seasoned professional and has held executive HR roles with both national and international financial institutions. He brings in-depth knowledge of all HR business activities including compensation, pension plans, pay equity, compliance, executive recruitment and major components of reorganization projects including skill realignment, severance and career transition. As a Certified Management Consultant and a Certified Human Resources Professional, Gary approaches issues from a strategic perspective and finds the solutions to acquire the desired outcomes. His practice areas include, HR on Call, Executive Search/Recruitment, Career Transition and HR Strategy.
Andrea Peres – Andrea is a strategic leader in Human Resources with over 20 years of experience serving in executive roles in both private and public sectors. Leveraging strengths in creating a culture of performance, recognition and employee engagement Andrea, led her team for a major financial institution to achieve being named to the Top 100 Employer List in both Toronto and Niagara and to be named “One of the 50 Most Engaged Workplaces” in Canada. Andrea strives to be “not your typical HR Partner” bringing a strategic mindset to drive and link HR strategy and solutions to achieve business objectives. Andrea’s practice areas include: Leadership Development, Coaching, HR on Call and Career Transition.
Larry DiIanni, M.Ed. – An outstanding educator and facilitator Larry works with the leadership Development team. His leadership expertise was honed as a High School Teacher and Principal prior to serving as Hamilton’s Mayor from 2003-2006. He earned his Master’s Degree in Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. Larry’s career in senior leadership combined with his outstanding instruction skills provides clients with a meaningful experience in our processes and programs.
Leigh Kras – Leigh has more than twenty years’ experience in the career transition field. Included in this experience is more than seven years with Career Partners/Harrison Associates where she has worked extensively with outplacement candidates and is both a CPI Certified Career Transition Counsellor and New Horizons Retirement Planning Counsellor. In addition, Leigh has many years in the executive search field and has worked on assignments for such Fortune 500 companies as Ford Motor Company, Petro Canada and UPS Logistics. Leigh works with our Career Transition and Executive Search Teams.
Randy Esford – Randy has held senior executive HR positions in various Hospitals in Ontario and is highly regarded in the Health Care Sector. He has been responsible for leading on many face-to-face complex bargaining contracts with range of collective agreements involving several unions. As a seasoned mediation and negotiation expert, Randy, has successfully handled a range of bargaining including mergers. His vast experience in the Hospital environment has included full development of the Human Resources Plan, recovery plan initiatives and a range of support to client groups along executive recruitment. Randy’s key practice areas are labour relations, hospital HR forward planning and organizational review. He is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan, Certificate Program in Health Care Administration.
